Legal
Effective 2026-06-12. These terms govern your enrollment in the Certified AI Insurance Credential (CAIC) and your use of getcaic.org. Read them. Reach out at hello@getcaic.org if anything is unclear before you enroll.
These Terms are a binding agreement between you ("you", "student", or "participant") and Agentic Holdings LLC, a New York limited liability company with a mailing address available on request ("we", "us", "CAIC"). Agentic Holdings LLC is the legal entity that operates the Certified AI Insurance Credential program at getcaic.org.
CAIC is an educational credentialing program covering AI adoption in the insurance industry. It includes nine modules, scenario-based quizzes, a master exam, and a capstone deliverable.
CAIC is not legal, financial, insurance, tax, or compliance advice. We are not your broker, your producer of record, your underwriter, your attorney, or your accountant. Nothing in the curriculum constitutes advice you should rely on for a specific transaction or risk. Use your own licensed professionals for advice tailored to your situation.
By submitting an application on /enroll.html (individual enrollment), /club.html (Inaugural Cohort), or /founding.html (Founders Club), you make an offer to enroll. We may accept by sending you a confirmation email and granting access to the program. Access begins on the date of that email or the date your payment clears, whichever is later.
A seat is one named individual. Each paid enrollment authorizes exactly one person, identified by name and email, to access the curriculum and to earn the credential. Your account is personal to that individual. It is not transferable, assignable, or shareable, and the login may not be used by, or its content relayed to, anyone other than the named enrollee. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
Company and Founders Club purchases. A Founders Club slot is a company-level membership (co-marketing, the Founders Club seal, and the referral benefits described below) plus one (1) named individual seat. It does not entitle an agency, its staff, or its affiliates as a group to access the curriculum or to earn the credential. To enroll more than one person from your organization, each additional person needs their own seat. We offer team seats for organizations enrolling multiple people; email hello@getcaic.org for team pricing.
The credential is issued per person. The CAIC designation, diploma, verification-registry listing, and any continuing-education credit are awarded only to the individual named on the enrollment who personally completes the required assessments and capstone. Accessing the curriculum on a shared or borrowed login earns no credential, no listing, and no continuing-education credit. We may verify the identity of the person completing the assessments, and we may suspend access or revoke any credential obtained through account sharing or misrepresentation, without refund.
Current pricing is displayed on getcaic.org at the time of enrollment. The Inaugural Cohort is sold out. The individual credential rate is $997. The Founders Club is closed. Pricing for cohorts after the Inaugural Cohort is set at our discretion.
The "founding rate" lock means that, for as long as the CAIC program continues to be operated by Agentic Holdings LLC, your seat is locked at the rate you paid and is not subject to public-rate increases. We may discontinue, restructure, or transfer the program at our discretion; if we do, your access continues for any prepaid term and we will provide reasonable notice. "Lifetime" in marketing copy refers to the lifetime of the program, not your biological lifetime.
The CAIC designation is earned once, by the individual who completes the required assessments and capstone, and the fact that you earned it does not expire. Access to the curriculum and materials you purchased is permanent, and your enrollment rate is locked as described above.
Active status is separate from the credential you earned. Because CAIC is continuously updated as AI and insurance practice change, an active credential reflects the current curriculum. For individual enrollments on or after 2026-08-01, active status (your listing in the public CAIC verification registry and any "current through [year]" marker) is maintained by annual recertification. Your first year of active status is included in your enrollment; recertification begins on the first anniversary of your enrollment.
What recertification requires. Recertification has two parts: (1) a recertification fee of $249 per year, and (2) completion of that year's update release, approximately eight hours of material covering what changed, followed by a brief auto-graded assessment with unlimited attempts. Recertification does not require re-completing the full curriculum, and the year's update release is included in the recertification fee. The update release and its assessment are an internal requirement to keep your CAIC credential current; on their own they are not state continuing-education (CE) credit. Where CAIC content is delivered through a partner that files for CE as the provider of record, any CE credit is governed by that partner's filing and your state's rules, not by this section.
Fee adjustments. The recertification fee is $249 per year as of the effective date of these Terms. It may be adjusted going forward with at least twelve months' advance notice, and a change never applies to a renewal year you have already paid.
How recertification is billed. At enrollment you may opt in to automatic annual renewal, which charges the recertification fee to your payment method each year and can be cancelled at any time. If you do not opt in, we email you a renewal link ahead of your anniversary and you renew by paying it; we do not charge a stored card unless you have opted in. We send renewal reminders in advance.
Lapse, grace, and reinstatement. If recertification is not completed by your anniversary, your active status enters a 30-day grace period. If it is still not completed, your public registry listing changes to "inactive." Lapsing does not erase that you earned the credential and does not remove your access to materials you have already purchased; it changes only your public "current" status. You may reinstate active status at any time by completing recertification, with no penalty and no back fees for skipped years.
Inaugural Cohort, Founders Club, and pre-cutoff individual enrollees. If you enrolled before 2026-08-01, your active status is included for life at no additional charge. You will never be billed a recertification or renewal fee, and no fee adjustment under this section applies to you. "Pay once, you're done" applies to your CAIC credential and its ongoing currency for as long as the program operates.
The CAIC credential and benefits described here are the specific program you purchased. We may from time to time offer separate, distinct programs in the future; those are not part of this enrollment.
Enrolled members in good standing (Inaugural Cohort, Founders Club, and individual enrollees) are eligible for a 10% lifetime referral commission on paid enrollments they refer by sharing their unique CAIC referral code. "Lifetime" here means the commission applies for as long as the referred student maintains active enrollment.
The code works both ways: when the referred student enters it in the promotion code field at checkout, they receive 10% off their enrollment. The code may instead be entered in the referral code field at checkout, in which case no discount applies. In either case the commission is calculated on the amount the referred student actually pays, net of any discounts and before tax. Only one promotion code can be applied per checkout, so the referral discount does not stack with scholarships or other promotional discounts.
Commissions accrue when a referred enrollment is paid and is past the refund window. We pay out commissions on a published schedule. You are responsible for reporting commission income for tax purposes. We will issue a Form 1099 where required by US tax law (currently $600+ per year for US persons).
The referral program may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice. Accrued but unpaid commissions at the time of any change remain payable. You may not refer yourself, use fraudulent or misleading promotion (including fake reviews or unauthorized brand use), or refer through paid placements targeted at branded CAIC search terms.
See the Refund Policy for full terms. Summary: 14 days from the date of purchase, on request to hello@getcaic.org, regardless of how much of the curriculum you have consumed. After 14 days, all sales are final.
All curriculum materials (videos, written modules, quizzes, exams, capstone templates, the autoresearch pipeline outputs, the wax-seal mark, the CAIC name and Certified AI Insurance Credential phrase) are the property of Agentic Holdings LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the materials for your own learning and professional practice while your enrollment is active.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly post, scrape, train models on, or use as the basis for a competing credential any of the CAIC materials. Quoting short excerpts in good-faith professional discussion with attribution is permitted.
You agree not to: (a) share your account or credentials with others; (b) circumvent any technical access control; (c) post abusive, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful content in any CAIC forum, comment, or community space; (d) use the program to develop competing credentialing offerings; or (e) use the referral program in bad faith. We may suspend or terminate enrollments that violate this section, with or without refund, in our reasonable discretion.
CAIC is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that any specific outcome (employment, promotion, certification recognition, agency revenue, or AI deployment success) will follow from completing the program. AI is a fast-moving field; specific vendor capabilities, regulatory positions, and best practices may change after a module is published. We update curriculum monthly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy on any single point.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to your use of CAIC will not exceed the total fees you have actually paid to Agentic Holdings LLC in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event are we liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or CAIC will be resolved by binding arbitration in New York County, New York, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You and we both waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for protection of intellectual property, regardless of the arbitration clause.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your enrollment address and posted to /terms.html with a new effective date. Continued use of CAIC after notice constitutes acceptance.
